Hi - Having been advised on various bead forums that people like to know something about those who make their beads ..... here goes.....!
We are Wendy and Julie and we are both totally addicted to making beads. We both have very understanding husbands and children!
We have been making jewellery for the past 3 years and started to make our own beads about a year ago.
Our beads and jewellery are all inspired by our beautiful surroundings. We are fortunate to live overlooking the creek, which is overflowing with colour and wild-life. The creek plays host to the most vibrant of insects and birds and with the serenity of the boats and still waters, the inspiration seems endless. Not to mention the sunsets!
We take great pride when selecting silverware and other findings to add to our beads, to produce the final article of jewellery.
Our beads are created by us and are annealed in a Paragon Kiln for added strength.
